The Waldo County OPEN SPACE FESTIVAL returns after a year's hiatus. JUNE 16-18, 2017.

The weekend kicks off with the Farm Supper, in the luxurious Lumber Shed at the old Farwell's Mill in Thorndike Village, 37 Gordon Hill Rd. World-class jazzy-reggae-salsa music will be provided by Jessica Small and Ezra Rugg, who will knock your socks off!

COME SUPPORT THE FARWELL PROJECT and enjoy a 3-course Italian style meal entirely from scratch and sourced from local organic farms and producers, created by Chef Frank Giglio.  byob.  Mingling at 6:30, meal at 7pm.  Atmosphere is a barn, so wear your finest barn clothes, or just your finest. Price on the supper is $60/person. The Waldo County Open Space Festival weekend continues! The Lineup:

Sat, June 17th – the weekend kicks off with  Farm & Homestead Day  at MOFGA’s Unity fairgrounds – 7 am – 4 pm. Free admission.

Evening Concert at 6 pm: The Rugged and The Cups – Thorndike Village, last boxcar in line. Bring chairs or blankets, or just your feet. Food for sale, tickets online (link) or at the door $8-10.

Sun, June 18th: 

Classy flea market from 9 am – 1 pm – Thorndike Village; Rte 139 closed to traffic for the time.

WCOS Festival! Noon – dark - $4/admission for food, music and nature activities and exhibits. (link to website). Bring your picnic supper or purchase food onsite.

Music featured:  The Acetones, Thorn & Shout, #453, Can of Cantankerous, The Cups with Jimmy Grackle and Abba Rabba Shabba. Bonfire to follow!
